In the Design Hotel in Hamburg’s landmark “Michel”, the original lettering on the Starclub Bar is reminiscent of one of the first Beatles concerts in the Star Club on the Große Freiheit.

Model ships and ship lights, a photographic collage featuring aerial views of the port of Hamburg and pendant lights made from old pulleys characterise the maritime design of this Hotel.

Some of the most important sights of the city are located within walking distance of our hotel: the port and the floating dock (Landungsbrücken) and the Reeperbahn,
