The Haus des Meeres – Aqua Terra Zoo, is the home of rays, jellyfish, sharks and a lot of more animals and that in the middle of Vienna. This is just one of the great curiosities of this Aqua Terra Zoo!

In the middle of Vienna, on11 floors, visitors can see about 600 different animals (sharks, rays, turtles on water and on land, crocodiles, lizards, snakes, fish from fresh and salt water, birds, flying foxes, monkeys, insects, ..). Thanks to modern technology, such as a curved half tunnel in the area of ​​the sea surf, you are right in the middle of the action.

In September 2022 the Haus des Meeres – Aqua Terra Zoo celebrated an anniversary and a record. In its 65-year old history, 13 million visitors have already been welcomed, says zoo director Dr. Mitic. This makes the Haus des Meeres – Aqua Terra Zoo to one of the most visited attractions in Vienna!
