Graz Museum Schlossberg

This family-friendly and fully barrier-free museum presents the history of the Schlossberg and its significance for Graz in a contemporary way. Open all year round and partly designed as an open-air museum, it is the first port of call for all Schlossberg guests. The “Wonder Garden”, dominated by shady hornbeams, is the place to arrive at the Graz Museum Schlossberg. Children can go on a journey of discovery and explore the stories of the mythical creatures that call the Schlossberg home. Behind the mythical figures of the Panther’s coat of arms, the Stone Dog, the Elephant and the Lion are hidden desires, fears and fantasies of their respective time of origin.
