The unique nature at Lake Neusiedl takes you on an interesting year-round journey with unusual spectacles from the animal and plant world.
National Park Lake Neusiedl -Seewinkel Vast grasslands and perfect plains, here and there a single tree. The diverse and colourful natural environment in the Lake Neusiedl – Seewinkel National Park is divided into several habitats, each of which is unique and worth seeing. Dozens of animal and plant species, including up to 350 bird species, can be observed on an exploration tour.
A well-developed network of trails runs through the entire national park, which provides very personal insights into the diverse flora and fauna. Some trails can be explored by bike or on foot and some are only suitable for walking, so please make sure to be well prepared in your planning! Important: be sure to stay on the designated paths!

April – June: Mon-Sun, public holidays 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
July – October: Mon-Fri 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.,
Sat & public holidays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., SUN closed
November – March: Mon-Thu 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.,
FRI 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
