Arrive and move in Berlin

Train travelers arrive centrally in Berlin, air travelers at BER first have to get to the city center. In addition to the classic taxi services and UBER (journey from the airport to the city center costs approx. 50-70 EUR) but there are also significantly cheaper options, because BER is also connected public very well.

Vers.1: S-train and FEX (Airport Express): The train station is in Terminal 1 on level U2. Airport Express (FEX) and regional trains (RE7, RB14) run several times an hour between Berlin Central Station and the train station “Airport BER – Terminal 1-2”. The S9 and S45 S-trains run to downtown Berlin every 20 minutes. Costs about 4 EUR for a single journey.

Vers.2: Express buses: The express buses X7/X71 connect the underground station Rudow (terminus U7) with Terminals 1-2 at regular intervals. The journey time is 16 minutes.

In addition to the individual tickets, we recommend the Berlin Welcome Card – free travel throughout Berlin from just EUR 24 and many discounts from many partners! The Welcome Card is available practically right in the arrivals area of the airport.
