Destination: Cinque Terre

Northwest of La Spezia are these 5 picturesque small towns on the cliffs of the Ligurian Mediterranean. Each village has its own charm and is different from the others. What they all have in common is the exposed location, the wonderful view of the sea, the original townscape and many small cafés and bars to linger and enjoy. Arriving by car is via steep mountain roads to parking lots outside. The train connection from La Spezia is easier, with which you can explore one place after the other. Together with Porto Venere to the south, the region was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
