Corniglia

Corniglia is a special feature among the villages of the Cinque Terre: The village is not located directly on the sea but on a rock, just 75m above sea level. This also gives it its special charm – nowhere else in the other places you can enjoy such a view over the coast! Stairs lead to the sea, but you should not underestimate the altitude, especially in the hot afternoon.

Corniglia is due to its location the smallest and quietest village, there are no hotels here, but some private landlords, which gives the whole thing its own charm.

Travelharry-Tip: Stroll along the narrow, cozy main street and look out to sea from the large terrace at the end!!! Simply incredible!

At the beginning of May, the Strappamaggio Festival takes place – every year the best local dessert wine is awarded.

A special attraction is the church of St. Pietro with its façade and especially the Gothic rose window.
